Scottsdale United: Teachers Viewing Lewd Sexual Images in View of Students Not a Fire-able Offense

Arcadia High School PE teacher Michael Hudnutt was caught on videotape by students as he was scrolling through pictures of scantily clad women in sexualized positions. Students reportedly took the video on November 30, 2022, in the boys’ locker room, as they viewed Mr. Hudnutt through a glass office window that displayed the Arcadia logo.

    EXCLUSIVE: Former Arizona School Counselor Says She Was Advised to Keep Students Transgender Status from Parents 

    Cyndi O’Brien, a former social worker at Scottsdale Unified School District, recounted a September 2022-2023 meeting where she says district social workers were told that they were not required to call parents if a child comes out as transgender during a counseling session.

    UNICEF Club Allegedly Tells Scottsdale High Schoolers To Side With Hamas

    Scottsdale School District Rolls Out Controversial RFID Trackers In Student Badges

    "This school year, Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) incorporated controversial RFID chip trackers in student and faculty ID badges.  

    The district approved the chips in a close 3-2 vote in late June. Board members Libby Hart-Wells, Zach Lindsay, and Julie Cieniawski approved the chips; Amy Carney and Carine Werner opposed them. The estimated cost of the chips totaled $125,000. "

    Scottsdale Students Planned Walkout To Support Hamas Cancelled

    "Desert Mountain High School (DMHS) students were planning to stage a walkout on Thursday just before lunch to show their support for the terrorist organization. The thwarted mobilization comes about a week after the DMHS UNICEF and Amnesty International clubs told students that Israel was the wrongdoer in the Israel-Hamas conflict, accusing them of committing apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and torture against both child and adult Palestinians. The clubs committed their fundraised monies to the Palestine side of the conflict."

    Arizona Attorney General Sues Scottsdale Unified For Open Meeting Law Violations

    The Arizona Attorney General’s Office filed a lawsuit against the Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD), for a violation of Arizona’s Open Meeting law. The lawsuit seeks to have Board member Jann-Michael Greenburg removed, impose civil penalties on the board, and ensure no future Open Meeting Law (OML) violations occur.

    Students Taught That Only 4% Of Men Are Exclusively Heterosexual

    Scottsdale Unified psychology teacher Mackenzie Onofry taught Desert Mountain High School students a lesson in sexual orientation and homosexuality. Onofry presented slides that state as fact the idea that only 4% of men and 2% of women are exclusively heterosexual and claimed that “sexuality is a continuum” per Alfred Kinsey, despite much of Kinsey’s research being discredited.

    Test Scores a Mixed Bag for Scottsdale Unified School District Students

    Of the SUSD students who took the test, 68% either meet or exceeded the passing mark in English, 45% meet that mark in reading, 35% in science and 42% in math.

The aide, identified as Mia Perry, was a Scottsdale Unified School District employee working at Copper Ridge Elementary in the before and after school programs.

    Scottsdale Superintendent: Staff Member Has Civil Right to Expose Kindergarteners to Gender Ideology

    Parents pulled their kindergarteners from Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) classrooms after district leadership refused to put an end to one staff member’s discussions of gender ideology. The alleged perpetrator was Mia Perry, a before and after school care assistant who told students that she was nonbinary, an LGBTQ+ term indicating that the individual believes they’re genderless.

    Teenage Boys Allowed to Sleep In Girls’ Cabins At Gender Identity Camp

    The controversial Scottsdale Unified program, Unitown, is under fire again as documents obtained through public records requests seem to indicate that the district assigns high school boys to sleep in girls’ cabins, if the male students claim they are female. No evidence has been presented that SUSD has any process for verifying the boys’ claims, leaving some to wonder if the district leadership has any standards for protecting girls put in the position of sharing their bedroom with a boy while attending district sponsored overnight activities.

    Cherokee Elementary Named Blue Ribbon School

    Nominated by the state Department of Education, the Pre-K-5 school received the coveted award based on student performance on state and national assessment tests. Fewer than 300 schools in Arizona won the recognition.

    Parents have uncovered an SUSD Support Services newsletter from February 2021 that openly promotes the Gender Unicorn and additional gender-affirming services and events. The newsletter is available on SUSD’s website with open access to all students.

    Anti-Police Rhetoric In Scottsdale Schools?

    We would hope that the organization charged with educating our children, Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD), would not promote an anti-police theme, but that has been called into question. It has been revealed that SUSD has been promoting curriculum by the organization GLSEN that has a significant anti-police message.

    ​Scottsdale Unified Accused Of Using “Unitown Club” As Cover For Gender Identity Propaganda

    At a time when parents are actively trying to steer their kids away from the District’s many Genders Sexuality Alliance (GSA) clubs, they must now put the Unitown Club on their list of must avoids. Critics say the “Unitown” Club sounds innocent based on the club description on the SUSD.org: “To promote leadership, diversity, and understanding between students through discussion, dialogue and activities.” However, correspondence between District staff members appear to show that the program has an inordinate focus on gender identity and students’ sexuality.

    ​Scottsdale School District’s Diversity Leaders Promote Drag Queen Storytime After Accusing Black DJ of Blackface

    After making waves for accusing a black DJ of blackface, Scottsdale Unified School District’s (SUSD) social justice professionals marched onward with their work. In the week following accusations from Scottsdale Parent Council (SPC) Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee co-chair Jill Lassen and SUSD Equity and Inclusion Committee member Stuart Rhoden against a black DJ for alleged blackface and the school of racism for hiring him, SPC DEI Committee promoted a “Drag Queen Story Hour.”
